July 18, 2021 Peace Prayer

 God of peace in the midst of pandemic,
 God of hope that cancels despair,
 God who sings joy in the middle or sorrow,
 Great God of love, hear our prayer.
  
 In crisis and hardship you answer our call,
 And we are enabled to share.
 In days much less perilous keep our hearts soft
 With compassion in action and prayer.
  
 O God of joy, hope, love and peace,
 Daily let us be aware
 Of your call to compassion, mercy and grace.
 By our lives may they see how you care.
  
 In the name of the Peaceful One, Amen.
